The stress analysis shall include the weight of all major items permanently installed on or within the vehicle, and shall indicate the location of the center of gravity of each component relative to the vehicle axles (travel and critical working positions). In addition, the analysis shall include the value of stresses at the base of the boom(s); at the hinge area between the upper and lower boom sections; at the hinge area between the upper boom section and the basket(s); and the center of gravity of each section of boom. The analysis shall verify the factors of safety specified herein, and shall verify that the yield point of the material used is not exceeded with the specified load on the basket(s).
3.7 Dissimilar metal. All dissimilar metals throughout the vehicle shall be insulated from one another to prevent galvanic or electrolytic action.
3.8 Lubrication system. A lubrication system shall be furnished with fittings for all bearings and other working parts which require relubrication for continued service.
