3.6.11.5 Hydraulic chain saw. When specified (see 6.2), a hydraulic chain saw shall be furnished. The saw shall have a chipper type chain and shall be suitable for cutting trees up to
380 mm (15 inches) in diameter.
3.6.11.6 Hydraulic chain saw, pole mounted. When specified (see 6.2), a hydraulic chain saw, pole mounted, shall be furnished. The chain saw shall be light weight (approximately
4.5 kg (10 pounds)) and shall have a cutting capacity of 230 mm (9 inches). The pole shall be approximately 1520 mm (5 feet) long and shall have a fiberglass type body to provide good
insulation.
3.6.11.7 Hydraulic circular saw, pole mounted. When specified (see 6.2), a hydraulic circular saw, pole mounted, shall be furnished. The saw shall have a capacity of not less than
81 mm (3.25 inches) and shall operate at approximately 2710 meters per minute
(8,900 feet per minute). The pole shall be approximately 1520 mm (5 feet) long and shall have a
fiberglass type body to provide good insulation. The saw shall include at least a 40-tooth blade.
3.6.11.8 Hydraulic pruner, pole mounted. When specified (see 6.2), a hydraulic pruner, pole mounted, shall be furnished. The pruner shall have a capacity of 50 mm (2 inches) in diameter.
It shall be mounted on a fiberglass type pole to provide good insulation and shall be approximately 2130 mm (7 feet) long.
3.6.11.9 Hydraulic tool fittings. Quick disconnect, dripless fittings shall be provided on each hydraulic tool. The fittings shall be compatible with the hoses specified in 3.6.11.1.1,
3.6.11.2 and 3.6.11.11.
3.6.11.10 Hydraulic tool stowage. Hydraulic tools, when furnished, shall be securely stowed on brackets inside the curbside cabinets. The brackets shall be provided with retaining devices to secure the tools.
* 3.8.11.11 Hydraulic hose reel. When specified (see 6.2), a heavy duty retractable hydraulic hose reel and hose shall be furnished. The hose reel shall be furnished with a mounting plate secured in either a vehicle cabinet or in an accessible location in the vehicle loadspace. The hose reel shall be furnished with a weatherproof cover for protection when not in use. The hose reel shall be capable of withstanding not less than 110 percent of the hydraulic system working pressure. The hose is intended for use in the aerial basket and thus the hose and hose reel shall
be capable of meeting the dielectric properties specified in 3.6.3. The hose reel shall be capable
of retraction. The hose reel shall be marked, stating that the hose shall be walked back to the reel to prevent damage. Hose fittings shall be of the quick disconnect, dripless type and shall be compatible with the tool outlets specified in 3.6.11.1 and 3.6.11.1.1 and with the tools as
specified in 3.6.11.3 through 3.6.11.9. The following accessories shall be furnished:
